XL Got 800 Fraud Complaints Each Day

Fraud on behalf of a mobile customer service, apparently had not yet subsided. The proof, XL received hundreds of reports of fraud every day. According to General Manager of Corporate Communications Febriati Nadhira XL, no less than 800 reports of fraud related to, received by the company's customer service center, each day.

"That number is entered per day, either coming directly into the XL Center, a call to 817, or e-mail to customerservice@xl.co.id," GM said Ira.

From reports received, Ira explained, most customers duped by mode as if a gift, and asked for tax money winner, as a condition of making a gift.

Of course, the amount of fraud that occurred in the field, could be much more than reports to the customer service desk. In fact, Ira said, his company has not been collecting taxes on the prize winner of any lottery. "So, we always educate customers while they confirm the fraud effort," said Ira.
